Meridian LabsAccessibility audits

Can everyone use your website?

Hands-on accessibility audits of the pages people actually use, with a plain-English fix list your web team can act on.

  • Key Pages Audit $1,490 + GST
  • Template Audit $4,900 + GST
  • Tested against WCAG 2.2 AA

You pay after you get the report. If we don't find a real issue on your key pages, you don't pay at all.

What we do

  • We use your website with only a keyboard, the way many people have to.

  • We listen to it with screen readers, the way many blind people use the web.

  • We tell you what to fix first, and how, in plain English.

Try it: press Tab on any website. Can you always see where you are?

Why teams pick us

  • Our prices are on this page. Most Australian audit firms don't publish theirs. We checked 11.

  • Your report arrives within 5 business days, not weeks.

  • Every issue is checked by hand. No overlays, no automated-only reports.

  • You pay after you get the report, and one retest is included.

Two ways to read this. Same audit.

The plain version is for everyone. The detailed version is for your web team and whoever signs the purchase order.

Plain version

  • We make your pages four times bigger to check nothing gets cut off.

  • We check text and buttons are easy to see.

  • We try your forms: referrals, donations, enquiries.

  • You get a report with pictures of every problem.

  • When you have fixed things, we check again.

Every problem, with who it affects and how to fix it.

This is one issue from our sample report. Your web person or vendor can act on it the same day.

Who it affects

Questions people ask first

Is website accessibility a legal requirement in Australia?

The Disability Discrimination Act 1992 makes it unlawful to discriminate against people with disability when providing goods, services and facilities, and the Australian Human Rights Commission treats websites and apps as part of that. Its 2025 guidelines say organisations should meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The guidelines themselves aren't law, and the Act is enforced through complaints to the Commission. Many public bodies also have their own accessibility policies or disability inclusion action plans.

We're not lawyers and this isn't legal advice. What we can tell you is what's stopping people using your site, and how to fix it.

Will you fix the problems for us?

We give your web team or vendor exact fix guidance, with code examples, so they can fix things quickly. We don't edit your website ourselves. If you'd like hands-on help after the report, we can quote for it separately.

Our website runs on WordPress, Wix, Squarespace or Shopify. Does that matter?

No. We test what your visitors actually get. Many problems come from the theme or template, so we note which fixes belong to your platform or vendor. One template fix often fixes every page that uses it.

Do you check PDFs and other documents?

Not in the standard audits. If your key tasks rely on PDFs, such as a referral form people download, tell us and we'll quote to include them.

Why not just install an accessibility widget?

Overlay widgets don't change the code underneath, so the barriers stay. Many people who use screen readers and other assistive technology find they get in the way. The lasting fix is in the website itself.

Can we pay by purchase order? Do we need you on a supplier panel?

Yes, we work with purchase orders. We send a written quote with our ABN and details for your supplier form. Our prices sit below the thresholds where most councils and agencies need a tender or panel, but check your own procurement policy.

What do you need from us?

Just your website address and the pages or tasks that matter most. We don't need logins or access to your systems. If a task sits behind a log-in, we'll talk about it first.

What we won't tell you.

Honest limits, so you know exactly what you're buying.

"Your site is compliant."

Our audits are testing and remediation guidance, not legal advice or a compliance guarantee. We don't issue certificates. The report says what we found on the pages tested, on the dates tested, and how to fix it.

"Just add this widget."

We don't sell or recommend accessibility overlays or widgets. They don't fix the underlying code, and many people who use assistive technology find they get in the way.

Tell us which pages matter most.

Email your website address and the pages or tasks people use most. We usually reply within one business day with a written quote.

Audits are carried out by William Lee for Meridian Labs, an Australian business based in Sydney.
