Audit terms
These terms apply to every Meridian Labs accessibility audit unless your written quote or purchase order says otherwise. Where your organisation's purchase order terms apply, they take priority.
In short: a fixed price for a fixed scope, a report by the agreed date, one retest, payment after delivery, and no charge if we find no real issue. Our audits are testing and remediation guidance, not legal advice or a compliance guarantee.
Scope
We test the pages and tasks listed in your written quote, on the public website, against WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA. Anything not listed is out of scope. Extra pages are quoted in writing before any work starts.
How we test
We use keyboard-only testing, screen readers (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS), zoom and reflow checks, contrast measurement and an automated scan. We don't submit forms, make payments or create accounts on your website unless you agree in writing.
Delivery
The report is delivered by email within the business days stated in your quote (5 for a Key Pages Audit, 10 for a Template Audit), counted from your go-ahead and confirmation of the pages in scope.
Retest
One retest of the "Fix first" items is included if you ask for it within 60 days of the report. We send an updated issue list.
Our guarantee
If we don't find a real issue on the pages and tasks in your quote, you don't pay. "Real issue" means a failure of a WCAG 2.2 Level A or AA success criterion that we can show you and reproduce.
Price and payment
Prices are fixed and exclude GST, which is added at 10%. Meridian Labs is registered for GST (ABN 88 792 692 097). We issue a tax invoice when the report is delivered. Payment is due within 14 days, or 30 days where you issue a purchase order, by bank transfer or card.
Confidentiality
Findings are provided only to your organisation. We don't publish them or share them with anyone else, and we don't name you as a client without your permission.
Your information
We test only public pages. We don't collect personal information from your website. If a screenshot happens to show personal information, we crop or blur it. Working files are deleted 12 months after the retest window ends.
Limits
The report records what we found on the listed pages on the testing dates. Websites change, so a page may behave differently later. The audit is not legal advice, not a certificate and not a guarantee that your website meets the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 or any other law or standard. We don't change your website, and we're not responsible for changes made by you or your vendors.
Overlays
We don't sell, install or recommend accessibility overlay or widget products.
